me i dont at all... hopkins beat taylor in both those fights in my opinion... he did to tarver what he did to taylor in their two fights , hopkins was just WAY MORE AGGRESSIVE!!!! never seen the man box like that, i predicted hopkins to win by 11 or 12rd knock out , but hell , he didnt even need one , Hopkins won every round and knocked him down ...

    damn what a lovely performance

both could have gone either way....

I think it was more that Taylor exerted his physical strength and youth more than Tarver does...Hopkins was already on his high seat, but vs Tarver felt he had something to prove and a MAJOR persona goal...

      EVERY loss matters.

But Hopkins is the man - should have moved up in weight some years ago, if you ask me.

put it this way hopkins went frm 159lbs to 173lbs....he still boxed tarver out of the ring....i watched both taylor/hokins fight..i feel hopkins won btoh but the judges didnt think so...i think they wanted a new champ cus hopkins had the belts for 12 years...

hopkins wentup2 light heavy n busted the numba 1 which happened to b tarver

        tarver beat roy jones
        johnson beat jones

yet hopkins beat tarver and johnson
