chavez vs meldrick taylor. chavez beat the prime out of taylor. taylor had a facial fracture pissed blood and got brain damage from that fight.

This isn't an obvious answer but I agree, Taylor may have been winning rounds and points but he took tremendous damage, especially from around the 4th or 5th on wards.
