Comments Thread For: Hearn: I Think Fury Goes With Warren, Makes Joshua Deal Tough

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom has made it no secret that he wants to sign up former IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs). But he believes Fury is likely going to sign with his promotional rival, Frank Warren, And if that happens, Hearn fears that a deal for a mega-fight with Anthony Joshua will become difficult to put together.

For someone that always tells us it’s not about money he sure talks about it a lot doesn’t he.

There’s fights to be made yet Hearn feels the need to stand from on high and yell down at everyone about what they are worth to him, rather than try and actually hash out deals.

    Spoiled himself, it seems.

I watched an interview not long ago were Fury says he's staying with Hennessy because he's always been loyal.

I think you'll find normal is the bigger draw getting more money.

I cant see this fight happening the PED user FURY is demanding top billing and 50/50 split which is never going to happen.

Hearn says that Fury is gonna go with the promoter who offers him the most money, if true then surely Hearn can outbid Warren? He must be earning millions more than Frank each year. Seems more likely that Fury considers Hearn a snake and isn't going to take a deal for that reason.

Warren allows his fighters to fight bums more often, Hearn/Sky prefer sticking fighters in the biggest money fights. If Fury wants to pick up decent pay checks fighting no hopers, he'll go with Warren.
