    It's the opposite completely.

Being black is trendy right now in the U.S>, especially in the entertainment industry.

Still carrying over from the ***** presidency-not saying it's a bad thing in any way.

I personally think AJ will beat Wilder because of fundamentals. A straight punch will beat a wild punch and I also feel his jab is easily timed because it's the same.

However, if he was from the UK, he surely would have a lot of fans just like AJ.

They are both the best HW's in my eyes which shows how weak this era is. Tyson Fury can be in the mix when he comes back for real because boxing skills and nullify power. If it was about who punches the hardest only then there would be others that reign.

What are the media supposed to do? Convince the public that Wilder is fighting world class opponents when that is demonstrably not true? It's a hard sell when there are other top dogs in the HW division that he hasn't fought yet.
Golovkin has been "convinced" to everyone that he fought world class before Jacobs & Nelo. They also "convinced" everyone that he beat Jacobs & Nelo. Mic drop, Peace.

Or is that just because that was back in the 70s and 80s and 90s, you know, when the country was so much less racist than 2017 where white people are so much more racist?

Y'all don't even make ****ing sense. Y'all keep having to invent new theories to fit your victim mentality, like the other poster above you with his ridiculous white Americans-white Brits telepathy theory about how Joshua is more accepted by white Americans due to osmosis with white Brits... are you ****ing kidding me?? LOL. Y'all keep having to invent new theories to fit your victim mentality, and they just get more ****** every time because of how reality gets less and less like how y'all perceive it every year. America has never been less racist than it is now. it is one of the least racist nations on the planet in 2017. It's not perfect, but American racism is not the reason that cherry picking Haymon boxers of ALL races get no respect. Mikey Garcia isn't getting much either because he keeps cherry picking. Neither did Danny Garcia. It's the same story over and over. The few who have actually tried to fight the best, and been good enough to win, like Spence and Thurman, have actually gotten the respect that DSG and Wilder didn't, and that's for a reason, but even they have barely fought any top opponents.

That's just a fact. Stop inventing ways to blame things on race. Wilder is in his 30s and has never fought a top opponent. That's the issue.
A man once said they either love you when your gone or your dead....

Mickey has been asking for fights but they don't want to work with him....
FightHype.com was on hand in Los Angeles, California where undefeated three-division world champion Mikey Garcia and unbeaten IBF jr. welterweight

Danny Garcia has a good resume:
Ashley Theophane, Nate Campbell, Kendall Holt, Érik Morales (not Prime), Amir Khan, Zab Judah, Lucas Matthysse, Mauricio Herrera (I thought he lost), Lamont Peterson, Paulie Malignaggi, Robert Guerrero, Keith Thurman.

Al put boxing on the Map in 2017 & boxing back on "free t.v." & got bob to follow....so stop throwing your little pebbles at the throne.

Now, in Floyd's case, there is certainly a case for racism and jealousy. Someone like Floyd comes along once in a lifetime or two, yet all you hear about him is what an asshole he is. Floyd is an American boxing legend. Wilder, not at all.
You just said it but missed it....Why does golovkin get praised like he is an all time great if he is just like D.Wilder but D.Wilder gets no love?
