if AJ was from america he would be just as big as wilder. the UK has way different history when it comes to race.

america puts marciano on a pedestal for being undefeated but when discussing floyd being undefeated is "not that big a deal". during the loma/rigo fight the broadcast team said floyd ruined boxing because he flaunted his unbeaten record.

Of course it happens, but not even close to the same frequency. Fact of the matter is, we live in a color-conscious society with strong racial biases.

All I know is cops can kill anybody including white women and still get away. They shot an Australian woman for no reason, and got paid vacation. A white grandma in cop school got shot by the instructor, paid vacation. Frequency aside, they get a paid vacation no matter the color, sex, or age of the victim. Like a vacation bounty on Americans.

Great post ! I thought I was one of the only ones that caught on to the agenda behind that remark.

The commentators were attempting to marginalize undefeated records to try and diminish Floyds accomplishments, while simultaneously lauding Loma.

Making it sound like having a blemish on your record is such a favorable thing because Loma has one.
