Please stop with these 3-Grade Jedi mind tricks.

GGG had fought NOTHING but 30 bums in a row, but was being hailed as the next Rocky Marciano.

U speak of context but won't mention the context that's most relevant. Why is that ?

It is hard for any fighter to become a main****** star these days. Even Canelo needs a proper dance partner to do good.

The PBC are terrible at promotion. None of their fighters carry momentum. They fight and then go on extended vacation. During their extended vacation they loose the momentum they gained.

Only superstars can fight infrequently and get away with it. You want to be a star? fight 3-4 times a year. Your chances will increase quite a bit.

Crawford and Loma are now fighting 3x a year. Who are the fighters growing in popularity? Crawford and Loma.

What the fook are you even talking about? GGG? I don't even like GGG - where is this coming from?

This thread is about WHY Wilder isn't popular - he hasn't fought the best in his division, simple. Not his fault in all circumstances, but it is what it is.

Mexicans / Hispanics have a much larger population in the USA and Mexico (US border) than blacks

Naturally fighters of these groups will have a larger potential fanbase (More Mexicans would be De La Hoya fans than fans of Mayweather). The point is though it isn't the fault of racism, just the fault of numbers of these groups' respective populations.

It's why Eastern European fighters aren't popular in the west - not because people are racist but because there isn't really a target population for them to appeal to.

Ethnic bias isn't racism in my opinion, although it does suck that it exists - but humans, like animals, are programmed that way.
Ethnic bias is in many ways racism. Many Eastern Europeans believe their fighters are superior. Same with African Americans.

In America, the ethnically biased fan base combined with the sizable openly racist crowd would fuel popularity for a great white heavyweight. So while I'm very aware that demographics play a role, racism does too.

I could also dig deeper on why certain attitudes could be seen as ****y from a black fighter and confident by a white one, but that's an whole other chapter.

Again, it would be anecdotal at best with no statistical evidence behind it. Mcgregor is hated because he is ****y, Tyson Fury too while AJ is more respected because he is 'humble'.

People in general hate ****y people and it makes them want to see the person fail, because it then reinforces in them that they aren't inferior. Tall Poppy Syndrome I think it's called.

I never said u liked GGG, that's irrelevant. Your claiming that Wilder assertions r wrong and that he's the blame for not being as popular as he could be.

So since I disagree with your assertion, and agree with Wilder's point of view that his skin color has a lot to do with it, I supplied u with an example of someone who's European (who's also fought only bums)

But was hailed and praised and promoted to the hilt.

I gave u this ggg example because u was blaming everything on Wilders lack of quality scalps.

That defense only works for GGG. The brightest thing on GGG's resume is on how many boxers have avoided him. If you look closer at it, it's shit. The first thing you hear when you critique Golovkin's resume is how avoided he is. I always rejected this flat out. GGG was the most overrated fighter in boxing. Now, he's becoming close to irrelevant.

Unearned hype never works. Didn't work for GGG, won't work for Wilder. They are both limited B fighters. Nothing wrong with that.

You can argue that GGG is a bum all you want - but he fought the best in his division, Wilder has not.

You can also argue AJ is a bum because he hasn't fought all the top contenders yet, but he is seen as THE MAN in his divison, while Wilder is not.

Every example you provide can be countered with another example.

POINT IN BOLD: Just no, I'm done, you have the reading comprehension skills of a child, there is just no getting through to you. It isn't Wilder's fault he isn't popular and that he has only fought bums - Povetkin and Ortiz would have made him more popular but they, through their fault alone, cheated.

Wilder is unpopular because he has fought only bums: FACT
It is Wilder's fault he has only fought bums: FALSE
