Yeah for sure, because the white population in the USA is about 4 times that of the black population - and the Mexican / Hispanic population is much, much larger than the black population so naturally they'd have a bigger fanbase.

I think sometimes we pretend that race isn't a big factor in boxing - people like people who they can identify with, it's just a natural thing. It's why the media and Hollywood and companies try and be more 'diverse', so people who don't feel represented can feel represented.
