I think Joshua’s name has done more for Wilder career in 2 months than anyone has done for him in his 9 years career as a pro. He really needs to keep that name in his mouth if I was him.

I dont understand why, if he really does want to fight Joshua, doesn`t Wilder`s promoter make an offer to Joshua ? Why expect Hearn to come up with the cash every time? Same as with Parker! Either put up or shut up .

Well if he’s not earning a profile by fighting credible opponents then I guess talking about people that are is his only other option

We British fans or Media dont rate Wilder have you not picked that up yet hence why no one is pushing for fight. Wilder now is about 5-6 in the pecking order and almost becoming irrelevant, pricing himself out of the market trying to play star boy.

Wilder has been a Champion a lot longer than Joshua and had his chances to fight Kiltscho or even Fury but decided to fight bums hence the nickname. BUMSQUAD

But that is totally ignoring the economical value of each fighter, of which Joshua and Wilder are worlds apart considering Joshua is simply a much more high profile fighter who draws a bigger crowd, is aired all over the world and eclipses every single boxer on the planet when it comes to sponsorships.

The worry is that Wilders ego won’t allow him to see that his economic value is simply dwarfed by Joshua’s and thus he’ll continue demanding half of the pie that he contributes far less than half to.

Great post, and I absolutely agree with you. I was just thinking about this while reading the new article about Wilder. It seems like a huge part of this is Joshua receiving lots of love from his country mates, while Wilder may have somewhat of a point by saying Americans don't support their own with as much fervor.

In any event, it is what it is. I do believe Joshua is the bigger draw. It's up to Wilder's team to think of a way to change that perception and for Wilder to give the performances to change the perception.
