WBC comes back and says all is forgiven.
    They pay a "small" fine.
    His ranking is reinstated.

And in rapid fashion he is the ring fighting in which he demolishes an overmatched opponent.
The champion, yes the CHAMPION gets in the ring to challenge high risk, low reward Ortiz ( the challenger ).
The winner (make that Deontay ) most likely gets a date with Joshua for $$$$$$.

Methinks something does not quite add up.

HERE IS HOPING WHEN HE FIGHTS DEONTAY, ORTIZ DOES NOT TAKE A DIVE OR MYSTERIOUSLY GETS INJURED IN HIS CORNER!!!

    You heard it here first!!
He didn't get busted for PEDs. Ortiz proved it was medication for a genuine condition provided to him by the ER. Simple mistake with the forms being filled out.

Looks to me that Al Haymon promised Ortiz a shot when he signed at the beginning of the year. Big Al is making Wilder step up and fight Ortiz. Good old Al always a man of his word.

WBC defending wilder by making him fight a shark like ortiz? bull.

i know it tickles your fancy to think that parker is a top 3 heavyweight but thats the furthest from the truth. this is a great fight. parker is easier then older wlad and ortiz. this is not very good protecting if u ask me.

"Proved" his innocent yet Povetkin had to pay $250'000 fine? This sounds like yet more politically drug testing from the WBC similar to where both Povetkin and Stiverne failed for their fight yet only one doing so was seen as a problem.

That's not a problem. If Ortiz knocks wilder out ( which could easily happen) then he deserves the winner of AJ vs Parker. This could be a really tough night for wilder, win or lose.

The problem with the WBC is that it is inconsistent with its rulings from VADA. They have let fighters fight after they have tested positive while Ortiz failed to indicate that he was taking blood pressure pills, and for that he gets scrapped out of a fight with Wilder...

...so then if they schedule this fight for March 3rd and Ortiz is still taking those medication pills, he and his team have to be on alert every time VADA comes in with their paperwork and indicate if he is still taking those medications or not.

The fight is supposed to be ten weeks from now. In between that time Ortiz, Jimenez, and who else is part of Ortiz's team needs to be on the lookout.
