  • Comments Thread For: WBC Prez: Luis Ortiz Proved Innocence, May Derail Wilder-Joshua

According to World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman - Cuba's Luis Ortiz, ranked third in the heavyweight division under the WBC, will have a "unique opportunity" when he challenged the current WBC champion of the division, Deontay Wilder. The Wilder-Ortiz showdown was scheduled for November 4 but the Cuban failed a doping test and after analyzing the case, the WBC determined that Ortiz, who used a prescribed medication that he did not report on time, did not act in bad faith.

Sorry but can you show me where it states Ortiz paid 250k? I know Povetkin actually paid that for the proven PEDs he was using. Ortiz apparently was late in mentioning his medication. Idk if he had to pay that kind of fine.

Floyd's drug testing push ruined this sport! I know there are some valid points against PEDS, but given the fact that this is a blood sport, in ways, it's PU$$Y to do all this crying about PEDS!

O wait, I know, they want a kinder blood sport. Lol

Besides, given the fact that most all boxers take one thing or another, I guess it comes down to who cheats the best without getting caught.

And before some of you pussified fks start crying about a "level playing field", there's no such thing.

Boxer "A" has more money, and consumes THE best organic food, and has a personal chef/nutritionists.

Meanwhile, Boxer "B" actually has more natural talent, and strength, but consumes fast food, and eats well on only part of the time.

Boxer A then kicks boxer Bs a**.

so you're saying that if one boxer eats grass fed burgers while the other eats at Wendy's, that's the equivalent to one fighter being on peds while the other takes centrum? Lol. If they wanted to let everyone juice in baseball and hit 80 Homers and throw 105 mph, I could see fans not really caring. But when you're dealing with the possibility of one fighter permanently damaging or killing another fighter, people might get a little sensitive about that.

It's no more outfighting or outboxing
It is outb¡tching and outtesting the opponent

i think ortiz is a really really good fighter. most certainly better then a older wlad at this point. i actually think he's levels above parker. parker's really not that good. joshua, wilder, and ortiz are the 3 best heavyweights. then parker.

wilder vs ortiz is much much more difficult then parker vs joshua.

It goes waaaaayyyyy further then just grass fed burgers. Keeping your body detoxed, and perfectly fed is damn near like PEDS, versus a poisoned filled body, who's immune system spends half it's energy just fighting the fast food poison in it.

And this is a blood sport, so there's always the possibility of perminantly damaging or killing another fighter. What you're saying, is with PEDS there's a higher possibility.

Maybe that's true, maybe it isn't.

This sport did just fine with juiced up mthr fkrs from at least the 70s to about 2010.

Will the death rate for boxers drop in this new pussified floyd produced era? That remains to be seen.

Sorry folks but there is something about this whole Ortiz issue that does not QUITE SMELL right to me.

So he got busted (again) for PEDs.
He gets suspended by the alphabet soups.
WBC comes back and says all is forgiven.
                  They pay a "small" fine.
                  His ranking is reinstated.

And in rapid fashion he is the ring fighting in which he demolishes an overmatched opponent.
The champion, yes the CHAMPION gets in the ring to challenge high risk, low reward Ortiz ( the challenger ).
The winner (make that Deontay ) most likely gets a date with Joshua for $$$$$$.

Methinks something does not quite add up.

HERE IS HOPING WHEN HE FIGHTS DEONTAY, ORTIZ DOES NOT TAKE A DIVE OR MYSTERIOUSLY GETS INJURED IN HIS CORNER!!!

                  You heard it here first!!
