I think it’s taken a few years for people in the traveller community to realise they make good fighters. Brad Pitt in Snatch was the first but now a large chunk of the UK and Ireland scene are travellers.

He's never going to be a well liked boxer due to his personality but can still command respect for his ability whilst people wanting to see him lose. Also, if we're being honest, a lot of people in the UK just don't support gypsies no matter if they're a decent person or not.

If he racks up a few more good wins and people believe he is really a top fighter, he should really start ramping it up playing the bad guy. It sells fights. He is a d1ckhead but an excellent boxer. Might as well get the most out of both. It's worked for others.
