Going to enjoy it when the same Wilder fanboys who criticise AJ’s fight of the year contender against a 41yo, inactive future HOFer, start claiming that Bumsquad beating a 40yo, inactive PED cheat who has never beaten anyone makes him the GOAT.

Joshua is not man enough to get in the ring with Wilder. He will out price himself and fight another nobody.

Instead of fighting a hungry young lion like WBC #1 contender Dillian Whyte for 4.5 million the Bronze Bambi is chasing a 20 years older grandpa with a heart condition. I hope at least they let the old man take his meds.

I think the thing most people neglect is that when a boxer holds more belts they have more mandatory obligations, this means they have to juggle who they fight just keep hold of belts. On this basis, Joshua has to fight Wilder at some point because it will ultimately be ordered, he can’t duck forever (which I personally don’t beleive he is doing anyway). Wilder on the other hand has only WBC obligations which reads like a who’s who of mediocre HWs. He can of course choose to challenge for belts around his Mando’s but in the case of Parker he didn’t chase all that hard, especially as he’s had a longer career and is now at 40 fights. So you have to conclude that Wilder isn’t that hungry to create a legacy or unify the division, so all the talk is kind of redundant. The reasons he calls out Joshua is 1. To get his name out there 2. It’s a mega bucks fight he can retire on . But I don’t expect him to take on any real challenge until he gets that fight unless the WBC order a Whyte fight.

That would be nice to have these 4 fighting a few weeks from each other.

It’s all well and good claiming the other side are “hiding behind percentages” but aj and Hearn aren’t a charitable foundation they don’t owe anyone a living.
He is a world champion. He is entitled to a least 50% of the pie. joshua need a dancing partner just like wilder. It is only fair. Maybe the % of the gate could go in joshua favor if the fight is in England.

How is he entitled to 50% if he’s not bringing in 50% of the revenue? So if you earned 25 million a fight and I earned 4 and we were both belt holders and I said “let’s split this 50/50” you’d think that’s a perfectly fair and reasonable request?

If I remember correctly Canelo was a belt holder when he fought Mayweather he didn’t get 50%

As far as resumes go and in ring acheivments it can be argued they’re in the same boat (although I disagree) but when you factor in commercial value and earning power this is no way close to being a 50/50 fight and deep down you must know that.

You say Joshua needs a dancing partner but he can make 15-20 million fighting anyone wilder is only making this money against Joshua so it’s not really a case of both needing each other.

Maybe but all the millions he was offered for a Klitschko rematch and retired instead.

Don't think so, he was going to make that much for a Klitschko rematch and turned it 👇.
