That would be an OK fight but it sure wouldn't make the welterweight picture any clearer. Thurman is almost a sure think to beat Vargas. Crawford is a sure thing to beat Horn if he can get him to fight. Spence is almost certain to beat Peterson even though Peterson is probably better than Vargas. To me Thurman, Crawford and Spence are the three best welterweights and when and if they start fighting each other that is when welterweight will become interesting and exciting to me.Comment

Pretty good voluntary defense I'd say. Remember, Thurman's coming off of surgery and a year lay off.
Plus he just got married not too long ago.
