Remember when he beat Barrera. Naseem Hamed was in the audience to check Barrera out. After the fight Hamed went into the ring and congratulated Jones and then went to Barrera's corner and said to him, "better luck next time, work on your defense". Naseem watched this fight over and over when he was training for Barrera and Manny Steward pleaded with him to watch Barrera's recent fights because he had changed since then, but wouldn't listen. Ironic, it was Hamed who should have been working on his defense.
