Saunders showed he can easily out box one dimension brawlers like Lemeiux. Now we know why Golovkin ducked a december show down with Saunders to become undisputed. This guy would make Grovelkin look more foolish than Canelo made him look!

In my opinion Lemieux needs a new cornerman and a dietitian. Lemieux needs to get out of his comfort zone and try something new.
Outside of having elite power he doesn't have anything else solid in his foundation. So his promoter or his manager need to sit down with him and talk about necessary he needs to make in his camp.

Charlo would destroy Lemiuex not to mention anyone in the upper levels of boxing would also beat him. Jacobs while being chinny can still box and was still able to pick himself off the canvas from a golovkin knockdown so I still pick jacobs to win a pepe lapu fight because he is a fluint boxer when he needs to be.
I compare David to a Arturo Gatti even though Gatti gave us some great fights to remember but Gatti at the upper levels was no more then a b class fighter. David would be a good fighter for trainers to put there upcoming star up against him to build confidence and or get beat.
Let's face it they say David has this enormous power but really does he against a true middleweight with a good chin? I don't think so because I recall GGG getting hit with a few shots that never moved him so who has he knocked out noteworthy? Nobody! Yes he supposedly has power but anyone with decent power and a perfectly thrown punch can score a knockout especially if the fighter don't see the punch coming.

Lucky for Lemieux is he is young enough to wait out the retirement of GGG before going for an alphabet strap. He is limited but has great power. Saunders, Canelo, Charlo, Andrade all beat him easily.

Lemieux was smart to change his trainer/team after his loss to Rubio, but he should have hired a trainer that could teach him things. He should have relocated, someplace where he's going to get better sparring and see different styles. Marc Ramsay has somehow become overrated as a trainer. Lemieux was obviously frustrated by Saunders movement & accurate punching, but he showed commendable perseverance in pressing forward until the final bell. David is probably not going to add many more wrinkles to his game, but his aggressive style and reputation as a power puncher will help him stay relevant and receive more opportunities. I'm sure that even the immature people that are clowning him today are not going to want to miss Lemieux's comeback fight. He's got that puncher's aura. As long as his opponent doesn't run as well as Saunders, you know what you're gonna get from Lemieux.

These brawlers are always crying about the sweet science of boxing, guys who have great footwork and can tag you and not get hit. He had your chance against Triple G and get embarrassed, Saunders gave you a boxing lesson and could of knocked you out but he took it easy on you. You’ll probably get a shot with fraud Canelo because you both are Golden Girl fighters and the Golden Girl wants no part of Sanders, Jacobs, or Charlo
