Mikey beats him at 1:40 I think the reason he's looking for Garcia is that he is really not making big bucks forget what the TV commentators say once you get below W the money is not there..

Linares doesn't need to chase Mikey Garcia. Linares needs to just stay at 135 and if he's not able to secure Mikey next assuming he gets past Gesta then get Golden Boy to get a fight with Loma and Easter.

Linares isn't yet ready to move up weight. He needs to stay patient and have a wait and see approach.

Linares cant beat Mikey at 135 or 140.

I would rather see Easter or Loma at 135...Linares fight proves nothing its a mismatch .

But Mikey vs Linares? Not a good fight.

Just like how if Lomachenko had moved to 135 before facing Rigo it would have been a waste, if Mikey moves to 140 without first fighting Lomachenko, it's also aw waste. There is one window to make that fight before Mikey goes up further than Lomachenko can follow him, and that window is now. This year. If that fight doesn't happen this year, then I don't want to hear fanboys saying how boxing is in some great place now, because clearly, the sport is still completely broken if not even these two smaller weight, non-cash cows can't make the fight that would propel the winner, if not both of them, to PPV stardom.
At the end of the day Bob Arum isn't gonna put in Loma against a guy that left his stable. Mikey at 135 is the bigger guy. Too risky for Bob. Same old boxing, Bob preventing his fighter from a mega fight. I know that fight won't happen but Garcia-Linares at 135 could realistically happen and I do see Garcia by KO as well.

Linares is no walk in the park for anyone at 135 whether it be Mikey Garcia, Loma, or Robert Easter. Linares has elite skills and solid power while his chin is questionable he has more than enough to beat all 3 opponents.

I would slightly favor Loma and Garcia or Linares but it wouldn't be by much.

And I've been wrong before like in the Lumule/Saunders fight. On paper they ALL can look/read good. Sure he can beat ALL 3??? But I only have videos of 3 boxers not even that good Knocking HIM out. So I have to roll with the video and eye test.

I see people here doing Linares like they did Klitschko because he got knocked out by Sanders years before.

Linares has been fighting his ass off and defending belts for the last 5 years.
He's no walk in the park for anyone. He's defended his WBA and WBC belts plenty against good opp.
