Crawford and Spence Playing Duck Hunt at 147

Jeff Horn said that he has the size and style to beat Crawford, yet he's pricing himself out. He also said that Crawford isn't a big draw, even though he had no problems fighting a nobody in Gary Corcoran.

Keith Thurman doesn't wanna fight Spence until 2019. Shawn Porter would rather fight Thurman and Danny Garcia, than get his belt back from Spence. Danny Garcia is trying to master the art of cherry picking, so he's fighting a sentient punching bag in Brandon Rios.

    This is boxing, in 2017.

It's going to be hard for Crawford and Spence to get good fights at 147. It should be easier for Spence since most of the top WW are all under the PBC umbrella, but we know how that goes. I think Thurman will rematch either Garcia or Porter in second half of 2018. If WBO announced Crawford as Horn's mandatory back in October but somehow he got Corcoran and now he is talking about Mundine for his next fight. He needs to be stripped if he won't fight Bud.

I think Garcia has been a carefully managed fighter post Khan. That's not to say he doesn't have a good resume, he does, but for every dangerous fighter, he fights at least 3 where the opponent has been selected for a likely W, and even then he's nearly slipped up a couple of times.

Thurman has been injured but would want to be compensated for a potential Spence or Crawford fight. I would say Thurman is the one with a target on his back more than anyone else. He doesn't strike me as someone who would run from a challenge, but I think he would insist on his readiness, his timing, and his terms because he is smart.

i got to say there doesnt appear to be many people calling them out. however if they are making everyone else run, surely they can fight each other later on in the year?

thurman is irrelevant. i dont even think about him as a boxer. garcia never had anything at 147. lets start building to a spence crawford fight.

Bob Arum vs Al Haymon in a boxing match is more likely than that.
