The sport is called boxing, not rock em sock em robots. The idea that "Mexican style" means not ever taking a back shows little understanding of the sport or of Mexican fighters. Mexican boxers fight with heart and respect the sport but are not ****** as you and GGG would imply. Check out videos of Marco Antonio Barrera, Salvador Sanchez, Lupe Pintor and other all-time greats for an understanding of Mexican style.

Canelo fought a smart fight against GGG and made him look like a novice. He lit him up. GGG started swinging wildly because he did not know what else to do. The rematch will tell the tale.

        so fkn what Gomez ?

        1) Saunders will still be there

        2) if you think that Lara's style was annoying, wait until you hear from Billy-Joe's mouth

Canelo is an action star. They're not going to put him in a fight that is almost guaranteed to be a stinker against the least known titlist in the division, especially after Saunders anti-climactic performance against Lemieux. Maybe Saunders can generate more interest by beating Jacobs or Charlo.

You super sensitive emotional Canela fans make me laugh.. Triple G doesn't just swing like a ****in madman bro he has calculated movements and techniques.. Alvarez was forced back like never before, when he usually prefers his opponent's approach him when they're smaller and older. Everyone said Canelo would knock out GGG.. he got booed out by his own fans at T-Mobile because he didn't stand there and trade in the center of the Ring. He couldn't stand there and trade with Golovkin in the pocket because he knows he had a high probability of getting caught.
Both Fighters will adjust in this rematch let's just see if your boy decides to go for the K.O. this time and not sell us Wolf Tickets

bro, no use arguing with fanboys in denial..even when you tell him Canelo was booed by his own fans they place their hands on their ears, shut their eyes tight and go "lalalalala!" Truth is Canelo had NEVER EVER employed that strategy against anyone else (and THERE'S A REASON), but they'll never admit that....plus when GGG says Mexican Style, he doesn't mean "throw caution to the wind" which is something the fanboys conveniently like to use now, he means AGGRESIVE , something Canelo was NOT in their fight....Oh "I'm going to do a number on him" and "I'm going for the KO" were some of the titles to his interviews with Boxing Scene before the track meet he put on display...

Canelo was running like Usain Bolt when he fought GGG.

Oh well, BJS win clears way for Golovkin-Canelo rematch. I would not be surprised if Golovkin wins a closer fight than the first one 7-5 and a knock down.

Golovkin unification after that with BJS should be decent buildup. I think a good jab counters BJS's whole game, so I expect to to be pretty one sided.
Lol yeah i remember that. Bumnelo is gonna cherrypick so much throughout his career
