I still think Lara beat Fraudvarez but BJS I don't know ..I can't determine how well he takes a punch especially from his last two bouts.

I'm in the minority and would to see that fight. Would be a mix of pure boxing excellence and highly technical. Can't pick a winner but I'd side with lara if Saunders showed up not on form.

But you ran against Tito tho. He ran against GGG. So it's boxing when yall do it but running when others do it. Gotcha. BJS can def outbox Canelo and that's an fact.

No it isn't. Let's see those PPV numbers from the first fight!

Per Gomez, no one is allowed to counter punch or fight defensively except Canelo!

I remember when Rosado Monroe was promoted as a Canelo eliminator, until Monroe smoked Rosado easily. If Monroe is a bad matchup for Canelo then they must really fear Saunders.

Oh well, BJS win clears way for Golovkin-Canelo rematch. I would not be surprised if Golovkin wins a closer fight than the first one 7-5 and a knock down.

Golovkin unification after that with BJS should be decent buildup. I think a good jab counters BJS's whole game, so I expect to to be pretty one sided.

according to their logic canelo was also "running" vs GGG.. right?

and i honestly didn't see any resemblance to lara from that saunders fight. billy was beating the breaks off lemule while clowning him while lara was moving strictly for survival vs canelo. big difference.

gomez is basically saying canelo would get embarrassed and they dont want none.

they were really hoping lemule won that fight smh.

Canelo literally ran away from GGG the whole fight, atleasts Saunders actually beat lemiuex's ass canelo literally just spent the majority of the fight just moving around not throwing anything.

They dont want BJS because canelo has problems with boxers that can move.

Isn't is the fighter's responsibility to cut off the ring if a guy is "running"?

I'm glad to read this. Let's me believe that Canelo has to face GGG next because the other fights are risky and don't pay anywhere close to as much.
That is right. At that level, the decisions are based mostly on risk vs reward. Some of the best boxers are avoided less because fighters are "afraid" to fight them and more because they pose a big risk with small reward. Oscar knew that it made little sense for Alvarez to fight Lara when he did, but Canelo insisted on the fight. Lucky for him, he came out with a close win that could have easily been scored in favor of Lara. The guy who has made out well in this market is Amir Khan. He poses little risk for the elites but has a sizeable fan base and he also helps sell the fights with his trash talk and dumb comments.
