Heard this just a day or two ago as well. Mike seemed to be a good dude, but perhaps way too giving with his money and possessions. He doesn't seem to be struggling now so I guess it turned out all good in the long run. But I bet he wishes he was smarter with his money for sure.

. You can tell Mike was the type of guy that wanted to make everyone feel like they were having a good time. Also one of the reasons rich people go broke.

Yep. He was a 20 year old young man who came from nothing and suddenly had millions of dollars. It's easy to criticize Mike now but if would we have done in the same scenario?

It’s a shame that the overall story and aura of Tyson is dominated by the whole ‘Street kid hard wired to self destruct’ angle when there is for sure plenty of stories like this. Mike was, and is, a good man. Some of our paths stray more than others though.

This is what happens to a majority of athletes who come into a fortune and end up blowing it. When you grow up poor and suddenly come into a windfall of money, you don't know how to manage it. It doesn't help that the people who are supposed to be managing their career and finances do know how to manage money, yet find legal and very shifty ways of taking it from them.

I can't imagine a 20 year old me suddenly having millions. And add on top of that I'm the baddest man on the planet and can whoop anybody ass one on one. DAMN! I was already an arrogant person at 20 years old. Now add millions of dollars to a 20 year old who thinks he knows everything. I already know i would go bankrupt too

My favorite part was his subtle but good impression of Tyson
