Damn, well looks like that Canelo rematch ain't happening afterall. Gennady Gradovich Golovkin has officially retired, because his vision? Wow, talk about karma, he busted Kell Brook's eyes after bringing him up 2 divisions now HE is the one suffering from poor vision.

Nice knowing you GGG, fun while it lasted. Thanks for the cheese

"Evgeny Gradovich ended his career due to vision problems, he will live in the United States.''

Gradovich did it like those euros are suppose to, won a world title in the U.S.A and now a resident in the land of opportunity. Enjoy retirement champ! Thanks for the great fights you gave the sport.

You guys must be new to boxing if you don't know who Gennady Gradovich Golovkin is.

Look him up you idiots, he's that chap from Kazakhstan, no, not Borat the other dude, dudes.

Google ''GGG'' and check him out, he's awesome.

I was pointing out the irony in the fact that when GGG fought Kell Brook (who he cowardly brought up 2 divisions), he broke Kell Brook's orbital bone - and now Gennady Gradovich Golovkin is retiring due to issues with his VISION! HAHA! You can't make this stuff up.
I'm a doctor bro and i can confirm that Broken orbital bones are contagious, maybe he caught it from Kell Brewk in the same fight he caused it in?

Whatever the reason it's sad to see GGG retire due to issues with his vision.

Thanks for the memories champ, we will miss you GGG.

smart move. i remember this guy's name but i'd have to look him up on boxrec to remember his performances and his face. once your eyesight is in jeopardy it's time to retire. i've seen too many retired boxers with one eye looking straight and the other eye wandering off.

several of the greatest boxers of all time had their vision deteriorate so badly that they went blind. sam langford is the best example. one of the greatest fighters ever and was completely blind and had no money at all until a newspaper article was written about him and a fund created to help him out.

Exactly! Me and that other guy were arguing for ages, but the mods deleted the messages because they were a one-sided whooping in my favour.

Basically the guy got exposed as a Trip G-string fan who was getting all defensive because his boy is retiring.

The " Russian Mexican " was an exciting fighter. Being like that takes a toll on the body but people will always remember you and respect you.

If I remember correctly, dude just walked into Garcia's gym one day. No connection, no introduction, nothin'. Garcia was red hot as a trainer at the time and Gradovich wanted to be where the action was.

Kid was exciting and had a nice little career. I saw most of his fights since he took the title, always entertained. Thanks for the fights!

Wow...because it's clear to anyone in this thread that you don't. As big as a fan of lil'G that you are, it's hilarious that you don't even know his full name.
