Comments Thread For: Spence: Mayweather Addicted to the Spotlight; Might Come Back

Errol Spence Jr. isn't convinced the best fighter of his era won't make yet another comeback. The unbeaten IBF welterweight champion told Sports Illustrated for an "SI Now" segment released on its website Tuesday that he wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight again.

id say virtually no chance...floyd made way too much money off a sparring session...if he didnt have that conor thing i could say "ok maybeee"....but that thing is enough to live off alone and he still hasnt seen checks from that manny fight yet...way too tied to that 0 and hes got to know that thing could go if he takes any serious fight

hes an attention whore. Its not the money he wanted from that mcgregor fight, but the chance to get his face back in the spot light. That event was perfect for him, the whole pantomime gig and the opportunity to prance around like an idiot. I wouldnt be shocked if he returns.

Floyd needs to find the next Floyd for his promotion company and he won’t need to comeback himself, and right now tank is not that guy.

I wonder if Floyd has declined enough for a guy like Spence to beat him.
