    I'm ok with most (though it's a little Rung-heavy).
The "upset" is pretty ridiculous because that outcome is disputed by most. I think Degale's fight is a much better choice for upset. Indongo KO'd that Russian (Troya?) this year too, right? Or, was that last year?

Few things more beautiful that two simultaneous left hooks, and one guy drops.

Horn won that fight IMO, I’ve watched it twice scored it 115-113 Horn both times. I can see why people could score it for Pac as it was a close fight certainly NOT a robbery. Pac was expected to destroy Horn easily, like a prime Pac would have. What transpired was a fighter, who was essentially unknown as of a year ago, defeated a modern day legend. It’s the clear upset of the year IMO

That was Dec 2016 maybe late Nov but definitely 2016. I see your point but personally I scored the fight for Horn, he won fair and square in my eyes. It was a close fight but not the robbery some of the US media portrayed it as.
It is Rungvisai heavy tbf, but he deserved them all IMO, it was his year definitely. I could’ve arguably gave fight of the year to AJ-Klitschko but I watched it back the other day and there were a lot of lull periods in it. And Gonzalez-SSR was just an all out, non-stop technical war.

SSR had two wins over an elite fighter this year. No one else has more than 1. He beat the generally considered p4p number 1 fighter at the start of 2017 in a big upset, then completely dominated him in the rematch. I think he’s the clear fighter of the year. The other two I’ll admit are debatable.

Fair enough man, all reasonable picks. I was considering giving Rozier an honourable mention for trainer of the year but I couldn’t really think of a standout performance he had as a trainer aside from GGG-Jacobs, and GGG still won the fight so the game plan was effective but obviously didn’t work well enough.
                    What made you pick him?
