Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia: Lipinets More Dangerous Fight for Me Than Broner

Mikey Garcia considers his second fight at 140 pounds more than dangerous than his first. Garcia's convincing win against Adrien Broner proved the WBC lightweight champion can succeed as a junior welterweight. The unbeaten Garcia knows full well, though, that Sergey Lipinets is a bigger puncher than Broner and thus should pose a bigger risk when they fight for Lipinets' IBF 140-pound championship February 10 in San Antonio.

Lipinets is a tiny 140 pounder. His skill and build remind me of Linares, who fights at 135 for a reason. I dont think Mikey is being totally truthful or at least accurate when he says hes the smaller man. Their height looks even and Mikey looks like he has the broader shoulders and bulkier build.

He never said he was the "smaller man" he said Lipinets is the Naturally bigger man which is definitely true because he's been at 140 his whole career. Garcia started at 126 and can still make 135.

Everything Mickey said is true. Mickey got a good head on his shoulders, maybe after boxing he can be a commentator.

Robert Garcia and Mikey Garcia knew Broner would struggle to make 140 that's why they asked for the weight penalty.Broner wasn't at his best but when hit Mikey flush a few times he stunned him

Lipinets has that bowling ball head, hard as a rock. He takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
