Lemieux vs Brian Vera. Lemieux vs Chavez Jr. Lemieux vs O'Sullivan. Plenty of good fights for Lemieux.

If you stand in front of David and your chin is not solid he will drop or stop you .When David fights a good boxer like BJS. there's only one winner.David needs to go back to the drawing board learn to move his head learn to box and keep his mouth shut.David is a- c level fighter with a b level punch there's A level fighters there .....work it out.

I'll bet he feels like a real muppet talking about putting fighters in coffins and the like ......and so he should!!!..........MUPPET.

David looked real soft also. he needs to get in the weigh room and get rid of some of that flab and tighten up, it can only help.

Watch your language! Show that man Lemieux some respect - don't call him childish names. He'll be back with more exciting KOs... he needs to learn from what Maidana did after he got schooled by Alexander...

The fact that anyone can have a bad day at the office is understandable, but for such a big fight you'd think Lemieux would have said something about the shoulder. Maybe it's just me, but Lemieux' stock has fallen since his shutout loss to Saunders. After the Golovkin loss his stock had fallen considerably but he was slowly building it back up. If it was me I would have even risked postponing the fight if I knew the shoulder was going to hinder me greatly. Why not? Wait it out, maybe even get an interim fight on your way back, but at least you maintain your credibility at 160. I don't know, those are my two cents.

                    that was a devastating loss

Saunders relegated Lemieux to gatekeeper status with that performance

                    it will affect his career

and it is far too late for Lemieux to reinvent himself

he will likely still draw a crowd at home, and can make a living if he stays on point and if his handlers match him correctly

Lemieux will look just as " destructive " as he did before Saunders undressed him if matched against the right opponent
