I don't think that will happen. Canelo would lose much popularity. It would look like Canelo was putting the rematch off for GGG to get older. Canelo makes more money rematching GGG than he does fighting Saunders. If Saunders beats Canelo GGG would probably try to fight Saunders for that last belt he wants. Unless that rematch clause can make GGG fight him Canelo risks losing the high paying rematch if Saunders beats him. Most fans want to see the Canelo vs GGG rematch more than Saunders vs Canelo.
