Hatton and Cotto should fight as soon as possible, they're both coming off close fights against slick defensive fighters and maybe need each other to re-invigorate their career progression.

Difference is "Mate", Hatton lost by a some rounds, and Cotto lost about 4 rounds...

face it, in the torres fight and this fight he has proven to be not wat everyone thought. there is no doubt in my mind that he would b crushed by any of the 3 listed, besides mayb hatton, since hatton has shown he is not very good at 147 and i cant c cotto getting down to 140 again

              I wish Gatti would...

but I dont think he could...

Gatti is too hittable...and I dont think he could take the shots that Cotto would hit him w/...Ward, I. Robinson, yes...

              Cotto, De La Hoya, no...

I love Gatti....instant entertainment..but if he gets hit he resorts to brawling...I dont think he could hang if he did..

Common peeps Cotto has just won.

He was being antagonized and belittled prior to this fight and this is what he gets after proving people wrong?

I thought Malignali's going to outboxed and outwit Cotto because he is faster? What happened? Why all of a sudden, people are noiw talking of him being no match against Hatton, Zab etc etc?

Hatton won for sure, about as (or maybe more) convincingly than Cotto. Hatton also moved up in weight and fought a WBA Titlist. Cotto fought a relative novice.

I'm trying to be even handed here, but some of the Cotto fans on this website are a little difficult to deal with rationally. I actually like Cotto, but he struggled as much as Hatton.

gatti hits harder than cotto, can take a punch as well, and would get hit as much or less (depending on if he stays as a boxer or goes to his old brawler style)

                      Round 1

Paulie Cut over left eye, not real bad... but not good. Paulie holding alot on the inside, actually traded some though... pretty even round though.

                      Round 2

Cut under control now... but PAULIE GOES DOWN. No respect for Paulie, Cotto is in his groove now... Paulie is still holding alot, but actually trying to hold. Left is starting to land, that's what dropped Paulie....
                      10-8 Cotto round

                      Round 3

Cotto's hands at his waist... ******. Paulie is either holding or running... Eye bleeding again (Not bad) and mouth.... Cotto is tagging that body and for the most part is beating Paulie to the jab... 10-9 Cotto round

                      Round 4

Cotto clowning around now... but Cotto is still landing more. Cotto warned twice for low blows, not really low, Paulie is holding him and leaning on him pushing his arms down... Paulie seems broken, but Cotto is not taking this serious anymore... Cotto 10-9 round

                      Round 5

Very Crappy round... Cotto seemed to take it off, Paulie didn't do much, but won the round 10-9.... one announcer actually has Paulie winning it (The other disagreed of course)... eye is still bleeding... Cotto needs to get serious and get that pressure back from early on.

                      Round 6

Another round for Paulie... Cotto is looking for one damn punch, he is not throwing combos.... Paulie isn't doing much, but Cotto is doing less. Crowd is now chanting for Paulie... Corner is asking Cotto how he is doing...

                      Round 7

Paulie's jaw may be broken... both guys look tired... Cotto wins round with good body work... Paulie's mouth is all messed up, broken jaw/cheek... something... Cotto round anyways, but both look tired.

                      Round 8

Down goes Paulie... ruled slip. Close round, could have gone either way honestly. Paulie looks like a mess... Cotto looks frustrated that he hasn't gotten him outa there yet...

                      Round 9

Paulie Round... Cotto isn't doing ****. He is looking very tired now, actually is getting caught and stunned now. Still going to the body.

                      Round 10

ANOTHER paulie round... Cotto is losing the fight.
Looking for one punch at a time, Paulie is able to tie up on the inside and land at short range... Corner is telling Cotto he has to fight and keep on going....

                      Round 11

Cotto round... Paulie's face is a mess... big mess. Cotto needs the 12'th round people!

                      Round 12

Paulie is a big mess... Cotto wins 12'th... should win close Decision... Closer than it should have been.... Official scorecard coming up....

                      UD....
                      115-112, 116-111, 116-111.... COTTO WINS

Cotto states he is looking to move up to 147 now.

This is the same Miguel Cotto that you post at, with the same exact username and signature. You must have known about this because
YOU POSTED IN THE SAME THREAD!!!

                      Seriously owned.
