Both quit at the same time at around the 6th round. Rigondeaux from breaking his hands after landing his best punches on Walter's solid, brick like Jamaican skull in the 5th round. Nicholas Walters quits from missing all of his punches up to the 5th round and then quitting from the fatigue / tiredness of the missed punches.

The bout ends up as a draw!

      No need for any judges!

What a fight... it would sell tens, possibly hundreds of tickets.

I like Walters by KO. He is a bigger younger harder punching fighter. They both quit to Loma but at least Walters came to fight and made a real effort to win. He quit when he saw he couldn't win and admitted he quit for that reason and not because of a sore hand.

I'd be interested in it. Both left a sour taste by quitting like that especially since many people picked both to dominate those fights.

I'd be intrigued to see Walters try and solve the defensive puzzle and avoid the left hand and equally intrigued to see Rigo try and keep the bigger man with the harder punch off of him.

              I couldn't call it.

It was a definite no excuses quit, for sure.

                  Walters was also very respectful.

Hard not to like the guy really.

I think he should definitely come back.

                  Start swinging that ax again.

Does Walters even fight anymore? I think Loma made him quit the sport
