    If Billy Joe Saunders could choose, he'd rather fight Canelo Alvarez next, not Gennady Golovkin. First and foremost, the unbeaten WBO middleweight champion would make more money for facing the Mexican superstar than he would for battling Golovkin in what would be a full 160-pound title unification fight. Alvarez also has had difficulty dealing with southpaws who can move, evident during his narrow wins against Erislandy Lara and Austin Trout.

          Canelo first while you still have the leverage (belt) - that is your biggest payday. Canelo is only going to get better, GGG is only going to decline with age.

          But whatever, Canelo vs GGG happens next or else fkcu Canelo. No honour in letting an old man die from age, especially after that lucky draw. Canelo takes the rematch though - Saunders can have the unification bout.

              Really? It was a good, clean, non-controversial ass-whooping. Sweet science baby, great fight.

              Even Saunders haters (I was borderline) liked that fight.

                      He knows he can't KO Canelo and it's impossible to beat Canelo on cards. Probably that's why they prefer GGG. They think they can't KO him, but if they beat him, they will probably be awarded the win.

                          Probably a bit of ego coming into that from Dominic Ingle I think. He must on some level feel he should have steered Kell Brook away from that fight.

                          Both are fascinating style match ups though.

                                      aint no way GGG will fight Billy Hoe next. Make Jacobs fight. Then Winners going for undisputed champ cant be easier than that.
