Was the ring big in the BJS fight?

I didn't check the size but going by eye test it seemed BJS had a lot of real estate to use. I think Canelo or GGG who would both be the A side will make sure to use a small ring.

Yeah I was surprised it wasn't a smaller ring last night. Don't think it would have mattered anyway, Saunders still would have won.

The way Lemieux was throwing those short T-Rex punches they could've been in a phone booth.

This is the ring Lemieux's team wanted

But Frank Warren wouldn't allow it

Lemieux would lose even in that ring you posted.

They would need something like this to neutralize Saunders' footwork:

Tyson Fury dethroned Wladimir Klitschko in a similar ring in Germany.

From what I remember he complained and the surface was changed.

Wlad apparently had some softer material under the ring, serving as cushioning so fighters who move a lot couldn't bounce around as easily, their steps absorbed and sinking into the canvas.

Would make it much easier for someone who plants their feet anyway.
