  • Billy Joe's victory shows how important diet and nutrition is.

Billy Joe, by his own admission, used to have a poor diet and never had a proper dietician in his team. For example on fight day, used to eat whatever he wanted, which he says made him feel lethargic.

Since moving to Ingle he now has a good coach and a dietician working on his nutrition, which in turn, has improved his output and performance ten fold.

His performance last night was night and day different to his performance against Akavov.

Let that be a lesson to any young and upcoming fighters.

You can have a Ferrari, but if you put diesel in it, it's useless.

    Very true.

You could have the most gifted and athletic body but if you don’t look after it then it won’t serve you.

Not even just professional athletes, a lot of people that train often overlook/don’t understand the fuel process that the body needs.

Would love to see Tyson Fury join the Ingle team with his mate BJS, being surrounded by other fitness freaks and good dieticians would do a world of good for him. Eating healthy isn't a diet, it's a lifestyle.

        Very true.

In the past, he used the training camp as a fat camp to lose the weight he'd put on between fights but he wasn't training to be in shape and be able to box the full 12 rounds.

You could clearly see this against Eubank Jr, he easily outboxed Eubank the first 7 rounds in the same way he did with Lemi but then the second half of the fight his fitness and stamina weren't there and let Eubank in the fight.

This was probably the first time in BJS's career where he came into camp in good shape and could train for stamina, technique and game plan rather then making weight.

He'll only get better too if he keeps in shape like this and focused.

GGG has never faced any one with the foot movement and jab that BJS has and we saw against Mayweather how much Canelo struggles with the same type of movement so he would give both guys hell and even have a chance to beat them.

Interesting theory. I never considered diet to be important in physical sports or even in life generally.

            You smart dawg.

Evidently Lemieux didn't get the message.

He was pudgy and ill prepared.

Saunders isn't beating anybody worth a damn at 160.

A win over David Lemieux has the casuals all worked up.

Saunders has never faced anybody close to GGG's level.

                  Casual haha you fool.

Nice way to dodge the question though.

GGG looks great against flat footed guys who stand in front of him.

GGG is just a better version of Cletus Seldin.

Your casual ass acts like Saunders is the first guy to beat David.

David Lemieux looked like he trained online

Don't tell me you didn't notice that spare tire around his waist.
