It has nothing to do with genetics. Most Indians despise any kind of physical activity, even in the bedroom. Not only Indians, Asians in general aren't much into working out or sports other than watching it on TV every now and then.

How is it that 1.4 billion people cannot produce one fast twitch fibered athletic sportsman?
Show me an explosive indian athlete?
I wouldn't be too quick to discount genetics as it is quite obvious that it does indeed shape a persons athletic ability

A change of diet is not going to suddenly erase/overturn the thousands of years of genetic programming. Evolution takes thousands of years through ***ual selection or environmental pressure.
The indian physique is unsuited for physical exertion and pain and is designed for leisure and lethargic activities such as cricket and chess.
Ever notice that you never see indians in physical occupations such as trades or construction? Its because physically these types of occupations are too hard on the body for them to bear
And what do you mean you've never seen an athletic indian dude? lol it's not like India never medaled in the Olympics. Vijendar Singh got a bronze medal or something in the 08' Olympics. Dude beat Badou Jack along the way bro. There are athletic indian people out there
Once these countries get more exposure to other sports other than Cricket and stuff, then I'm sure you'll see more and more athletes come out.
And brotha.....my dude.....India is one of the poorest countries in Asia. Most real Indian people from India work on farms and stuff till the sun goes down. They walk miles just to go to school. They come to America and do IT and ****, and get lazy I guess lol can't compare American Indians to those slumdog Indians from IndiaLast edited by HENNY; 12-17-2017, 02:28 AM.

Indians don't even glorify fighters like those other countries so no surprise there are none.
Btw, all of the "studies" you mentioned, none of them talk about genetics. You can't look at someone and then try to assume he is in the shape he's in because of his genetics. You'd have to go to the lab and let the scientists do the analytical work, not look at people, weigh and measure them and then make wrong conclusions and take wild guesses. That's not science, that's bull****.

Less muscle mass just means that they would compete at lower weight classes. If boxing was huge in India I am sure they would have several world champs right now.

They are slim because they don't eat as much crap as us Western folk but their level of physical fitness is non existent.

jajajaj at calling peer reviewed studies by scientist s bull****, just because you don't agree to what they say or or their implications.
There is indeed a link between genes and indian lack of athleticism, cardiovascular health, adiposity, insulin resistance and diabetes. Studies have concluded the same thing over and over.
1. indians have low lean muscle mass and skeletal mass. What does this entail? Skeletal mass in essential for movement and physical function, the less skeletal mass you have the less function or ability and strength.
2. indians have low cardio vascular and lung capacity. Obviously the less oxygen you get the less efficient your body will work, making indians physically less fit
3. Indians are predisposed to have high body fat and low lean muscle mass which makes them prone to diabetes
4. indians have the weakest grip strength in the world
Here is a table demonstrating indian genetic weakness
South asians (indians) have the weakest genotype on 23andme in the highest numbers

Asian males = 59.6 kg
Indian males = 53.3 kg
So even if an indian is the same weight class as an asian, african, euro or hispanic he is going to have significantly less mass

Fact: If start bringing race into athletic ability you should have no problem bringing in intelligence.
