I'm a fan of Pacquiao's fight, but I wouldn't pay for this farce.

Hiding behind the whole ‘Conor was limited’ excuse is ******. Conor wanted to box, told us all he’d win by boxing, told us he even was boxing...yeah there’s trash talk and reality, but at the end of the day if a guy agrees and is happy/confident to fight just using his hands, you can’t complain that he couldn’t use anything else once he gets shown up.

I was just speaking on the general concept of MMA fighters, well rounded real fighters, going into the boxing ring and pretty much forcing themselves to stop using 20-30+ weapons with some of them far more lethal than punching.

Yeah man, wasn’t necessarily talking directly too you, just referencing what you said in terms of those that actively use that as an excuse for Conor losing.

For sure, an MMA fighter choosing to box IS limited in terms of skill set, that is not debate...but if one chooses to do so then it can’t be used as a reason for a loss is all.

That said, a Pacquiao McGregor fight is pointless...we all know Manny needs to walk away and we all saw Conor’s level of boxing...it answers and proves nothing. I am a boxing fan first and foremost, and what some may call a causal MMA fan...I’d like to see Conor just return to what he does better, leave boxing alone. Apart from the coin he generates there’s not much point in him being here.

You’d be in denial to say that Arum really cared about Pacquiao. He knows it and his fans knows it. He went from PPV to fighting school teachers on ESPN.

He went from fighting on Ppv to fighting Jeff Horn on Espn because Pac is at the end of his career and they were negotiating a long term deal with Espn. Pacquiao still got paid big money for that fight and almost nobody expected Horn to win. Its not like they set him up to lose lol most people thought he was going to ko Horn but Horn ended up fighting the fight of his life and turned it into a brawl and won. His last 3 fights were Jessie Vargas and Bradley which he got paid 20 million dollars each and then Horn for 10 million. If thats not looking out for Pacquiao I dont know what is. If they were trying to screw him over they would have made him fight Crawford instead of Horn
