ok so what you're asking is if Haymon chose to buy santa cruz out of his contract once the negotiations started on his own? You think he'd do that without consulting with Santa Cruz?? Aside from that, Santa Cruz father straight up said he didn't want that fight for his son & said if his son was gonna lose, he'd prefer it'd be to a Mexican. Santa Cruz didn't want any part of that fight. And check this link where Oscar mentions it and it's also quoted where Santa Cruz said he didn't wanna leave golden boy just 1 month before deciding to leave. I think your hate for Leo clouds your judgement. Name someone with a better resume at FW?

Tell you what? Leo fights someone you think will beat him and we can do business...
yeah, mares has looked better recently (last 2 fights) but tell me he didn't look washed leading into the santa Cruz fight after the Gonzalez ko? I don't hate Santa Cruz but Are you really gonna act like Santa cruz didn't fight a bunch of c class dudes prior to the mares fight? And as my original point was, he definitely didn't want that fight with rigo and it should've happened because he was the best opponent available for santa cruz back then.

You really gonna stand her and tell me ALL fighters dont pad their resume with C class fighters. Give me a FW with a better resume? He didn't want to fight Rig. Because he wanted a more active fun fight for the fans. He also said "if" he loses the belt he hopes its to a Mexican but followed that up with whoever wins deserved it and deserves props.

You think Leos a bum hes still young so he got plenty of fights left...I bet with $$$$ I dont just pop off at the mouth. Everyone has an opinion dont mean sht if you truly dont believe it and back it up. *** do you even have Santa Cruz ranked at FW in the top 10??? How fkn low do you have him?? 20-30?? Maybe not even top 50??

he could still fight and beat most of fighters from 122 to 130, but without a belt none of the top fighters are going to get in the ring with him, none of the young prospect either, and probably nobody would like to put him on tv ever again, he is done and 99% of the blame is his.

Same as when Bernard pretended he hurt his back so as he didn't get knocked out by Chad Dawson . . . What's the difference?

Oh I remember exactly how it all went down. It happened right after Haymon took his fighters and formed the PBC brand.
But as far as Haymon buying out Santa Cruz's contract without consulting him well that's something neither you or I really know... You can sit there and speculate and think what you want but in reality your just talking out your ass cause you really don't know the facts!
Maybe Haymon was protecting his interests and he felt Santa Cruz wasn't ready for Rigondoux. All this happend when Al Haymon first ventured on his own and he needed an undefeated Mexican fighter to help build his brand.. Don't you think Santa Cruz was the perfect guy?? He knows Mexicans love boxing so of course he needed a great Mexican fighter to help boost his PBC brand. Think about it... You know boxing but at the same time you love to hate on certain fighters.
Unless you have facts then you shouldn't speculate and you certainly shouldn't call any fighter a coward cause that makes you look like an idiot. We both know boxer's aren't cowards!

                      Overrated.

No right hand, a lot of his defence is spoiling tactics (ducking below the waist).
