Comments Thread For: Lemieux Laughs: Saunders Can KO Me? Maybe With a Baseball Bat!

A very eager and motivated Billy Joe Saunders is targeting a middleweight unification fight against the victor of the expected rematch between Gennady Golovkin and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

I like DL a whole ton better. For all BJS's talk about Lemieux fighting "B" level opposition, Saunders has been squarely in the crosshairs of "C" level fighters and plain inactivity since winning the belt. Saunders is technically sound, but I actually think Lemieux has improved in his boxing skills quite a bit since he was wiped out by Trip G.

Lemieux by UD, as I think Saunders goes into survive mode after the jab from Lemieux really adds up and Saunders get hit by some nice power shots. Saunders needs to hurt Lemieux some to get it into the skills VS. skills match he needs, and I doubt that happens as Lemieux has just enough D these days to keep people honest and Saunders couldn't KO a lightweight much less a serious middleweight.

I usually always favour the Brit, but part of me wants to see BJS get smashed.

How many tickets did Saunders shift? Must be at least 10.

Yeah I'm expecting Lemieux to be a bigger, stronger guy by a pretty decent amount and just be too much for Saunders to handle.

This fight determines who gets to call Canelo daddy next. Shame, the rematch between Caenlo and GGG should have already been sorted.
