Long-time heavyweight contender and former world title challenger Jameel "Big Time" McCline, 37-6-3 (23 KO’s), has hired Scott Hirsch's World Class Boxing Management to manage his career. McCline has won five consecutive bouts and will be facing fellow contender Terry Smith 27-1-1 on ESPN2, July 21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "I'm going to remain independent promotionally for now while I consider my options and my attorney, Mike Boroa will still be a big part of the team, but Scott is the guy to guide my comeback. He's been advising me as a friend for the past few months and now we're making it official," said McCline. Hirsch is best known for resurrecting the career of heavyweight contender Shannon Briggs and guiding heavyweight prospect JD "The Natural" Chapman.
