It's what happens when two defensive boxers come together. Wladimir has one of the best defences of all time, Fury still did enough to win the fight, it is what it is.

Fury would beat any version of Wlad, he's simply a superior boxer. Why would he have ducked a rematch from a man he took to school in his own backyard? Stop tarkin rubbish son.

Styles make fights, I love how so many people have Fury down as an imperious boxer that cannot be beaten by Joshua. This is the same guy that went 12 rounds with Chisora and Kevin Johnson (in his 20th fight). I don’t mind Fury, he’s also very skilled, but he hasn’t really fought anyone either, only Wlad in the top flight. Where all this love for him comes from I can’t understand..definitely not warranted in his record.
It's called the eye test. In his last three bouts (Chisora, Hammer, Wlad) Fury barely had a punch landed on him. Rewatch the Hammer/Chisora II fights on YouTube, Fury is on another level. Schooled them so badly he forced them to quit. He's the HW version of Lomachenko

Perfect post. People seem to forget how beatable he's looked in a lot of his fights. Even had a couple of gift decisions against the likes of chisora and McDermott.

You have got to be kidding! There isn’t another Loma in any other weight class and you pick Fury as a comparison. Fury knows how to box and he’s a very tall guy who can predominantly use his height/length against smaller guys like Chisora/Hammer, his pull counter looks impressive against say a Chisora because of this. Hammer is also a powder puff puncher who’s barely at Euro level, hardly the same proposition as AJ

Fury is actually superior to Loma. Loma schools people just like Fury does, but Fury has the higher boxing IQ as well as more skills. I don't see Loma being able to switch stances flawlessly like the Gypsy King does.

              Fury>Loma

Only reason Wladimir is saying this stuff is because they're feeling threatened by the glorious return of the Gypsy King. Hearn probably paid Wlad off to come out and say this. The casuals will be gobbling it up.
