Lemiuex would have a tough time getting to Jacobs' chin and while Lemiuex isn't packing glass, his chin isn't exactly iron either. Jacobs has proven to be more durable than most thought and I think he'd be able to keep Lemiuex off of him.

This ^. If Saunders comes in in top form he should take this - certainly he's a level above Lemieux in terms of his boxing skills. The only variable you haven't brought up is the fact that this is a GBP card and Lemieux is at home. I think GBP has eyes on Lemieux vs Canelo at some point in 2018 and the belt would certainly add some ****e to that scrap. It might not be enough for Saunders to cruise or take rounds off if he thinks he's ahead - expect close rounds to go Lemieux.I think Danny Jacobs is spot on with his analysis. If BJS does everything right he wins this, that is to include fight preparation, conditioning and ring tactics. If any if these are lacking and Lemieux lands a shot or two, it's lights out. Looking forward to this fight because of all these variables.Comment

Yeah Jacobs is actually a good boxer, he handily beats Lemieux even easier than BJS, the power can easily be neutralised plus Jacobs is packing heat too.Comment

Billy Ho has a way of taking a potentially exciting fight and making it a slow dull affair. Lemieux will swing and miss all night. BJS wins this in a fight so boring I turn it off half way through.Comment

I truly believe BJS will win 8 or 9 rounds in an ugly fight by boxing Limieux.
David has telegraphed punches, not so great footwork, predictable rhythm and leaky defence. He has power which can change any round or a fight of course.
BJS can be hit, but he seems to fight better when he is motivated by names.Comment
