They are scheduled to fight after their fights. They pretty much agreed that's why the WBC is allowing Mikey to keep his title because they have mandated the fight.

Those are good questions. I'm assuming Easter wanted minimum a $1 million. (Probably $1.5 million) He sold some solid tickets in Ohio (2x) and has a belt. Probably feels like he needs to get a solid pay day if he's going to risk the belt.

We know that Mikey is getting minimum $1.5 million for this fight. I think it's probably more considering the recent comments about money.

That would make it a pricey card for Showtime. I'm assuming when we see the purse totals, it won't be higher than $2.5 million total for the whole card.

Obviously I'm speculating, but for these unification fights, Haymon's guys have gotten some solid $. So i think my assumptions are close to the actual numbers.

Lipinets was the next fight, Prograis is chomping at the heels, you have some really good prospect coming along, Figueroa Jr had just started his comeback, and Mikey Garcia was just starting to dip his toes in at the weight.

You add that Top Rank has no welterweights for him to fight, and it's odd that Crawford left with at least 5-6 good fights still there to make.

Top rank has the biggest welter weight!Pac and also and easy title with Horn.And there is no stopping Spence or Thruman from fightin on ESPN.And by biggest I obv mean money.And TRUST ME Crawford was not losing ANY sleep over Lipinets.Who has he or Progais fought yet.I don't know about you but Lipinets did not impress me at all in last fight with top 15-20 type fighter.Crawford would have been 20-1 favs at least over ANY of these guys and would have been paid less.Funny thing I WISH Crawford had stayed at 140 because that was him at his best we will see a drop off in domanince.

Who did he duck? Lipinets is a much tougher fight than Linares who's made of glass. I would've preferred a Lomachenko or Easter Jr fight but I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, this isn't a bad fight at all. Lipinets is a solid fighter and much bigger than Mikey, I think this fight goes the distance

Lipinets is MADE for Mikey and unless he gets lucky or Mikey chin cant take 140 he wont LOSE 1 ROUND.Lipinets is not that good a fighter from what I seen.His last fight was prob his toughest test and he looked BAD and that Jap kid is not even top 10.

GB wanted 50/50. Linares barely makes 250k a fight and did 2k at the Forum for his last fight. GB has him travel to the UK for fights. That says a lot about his worth, but yet GB is asking for a 50/50 split instead of options on Mikey. You think it's that easy to make fights, Arum isn't going to make no fights with Mikey just over night, not going to happen. As for Loma, you have a problem with Mikey supposedly cherry picking titles, Loma has yet to beat one true champ. He won a vacant title against an unproven Russell and a title against the weakest champ in Martinez. And I guarantee you that he will fight Beltran for the WBO title in a few fights. It your choice who you want to see, but its easy to go by what you hear from the media instead of what really is going on to negotiate the fight.
