If bjs beats lemiuex then that's not a bad option for canelo tbh. Undefeated champ that would have wins over Eubank, andy Lee, Willie Monroe, and lemiuex. Would obviously prefer a ggg rematch but canelo-bjs would be a good matchup. In the meantime, ggg can rematch jacobs or fight Charlo. If canelo and ggg each win then they can square off for the undisputed title in September.

If lemiuex beats saunders, then that would be a much weaker fight for canelo considering that he got dominated by ggg already.

If Canelo opts to face the BJS/Lemieux winner in May, GGG will probably have to make a mandatory defense. That rules out Jacobs...so maybe Charlo, Derevyanchenko, or Murata.

I have always been a big fan of both Canelo and GGG. I think Canelo was lucky to get a draw. If he doesn't give GGG the May 2018 rematch almost all boxing fans want to see I will be much less of a Canelo fan than I am now. I think Canelo will tell mother hen Oscar to make the rematch next May rather than fight anyone else but we shall see.
