Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: The Moment of Truth is Here For Billy Joe Saunders

THE MOMENT OF truth is looming for Billy Joe Saunders on Saturday night when he embarks on his toughest assignment to date against the heavy hitting Canadian David Lemieux in Montreal. Bill is indeed rolling the dice a little bit by heading over into Lemieux's home territory to make his third defence of his WBO world middleweight title.

I don't care. I'm just tired of seeing the QUITTING culture in the sport.

Fight your heart out lads and may the best man win.

Why does everyone think BJS is a great boxer? He didn't look great against Willie Monroe imo. I think he may get KO'D.

Actually, not that many think he's a great boxer... Only in Britain. Something in the water I think..

That fight was a stinker, but BJS won comfortably. He is in the best shape I have seen him, he didn't slack off after last fight and put on 50 pounds like he usually did.

This will be the best version of BJS we have seen I reckon, although I'm rooting for Lemieux. BJS isn't some p4p great, but in the MW division he is a good 'boxer' who can present some problems for the top guys, though I don't favour his chances against GGG, Canelo or Jacobs.

Saunders will have to be at his very best on Saturday.

Lemieux is fighting in his backyard and has a great shot at winning the belt.

I think Lemieux's best chance is to land something huge in the first 3-4 rounds.

Ole billy goats an underrated figher who fights to the level of his opponent you will be amused by how efficiently he deals with lemieux making him seem more one dimensional then he already is.

BJS, a great boxer? Nah!! Top ten fighter in the MW division. Maybe top 5 but that's because it's a weak division. Maybe I'll change my opinion after this fight but I doubt it. However, kudos for taking this on, a little out of character but maybe he's had a mindset reset. Defo will be watching this but am expecting a pretty dull fight, made so by the BJS.
