Comments Thread For: Khan: Now I Know Why Pacquiao Picked Horn - And He Still Lost!

Former world champion Amir Khan threw shade at Jeff Horn during the Australian's WBO welterweight world title defense against Gary Corcoran in Brisbane on Wednesday. Horn won the belt in a controversial unanimous decision victory over Manny Pacquiao in July.

Just when I was starting to like the kid again he comes out with this bullshìt.

Fight someone you bastard! Anyone! Get ranked. Then come back and talk all the mad shìt you want. Right now you're irrelevant and if you don't get ranked and fight someone credible after your tune-up then you need to hang them up son.

Khan trying his best to stay relevant. If he wants a big fight, him and brook would generate alot of interest in UK. Khan couldn't live with himself losing to brook, which he most definitely would

I was also beginning to warm up to him after his stint on "I'm a Celebrity", but trashing his ex gym mate just to gain attention for a fight with Horn is classless, and a legend no less, he's not worth Pacquiao's shoes....dumb gormless ****

“You are only as good as your last fight”

A little saying that sometimes gets said, Khan has obviously not heard it.

Khan clearly thinks his relevance that is/was already in place is a bottomless well but the reality is he hasn’t done much for a huge amount of time and the last outing saw him knocked out again. He probably hopes U.K casuals and U.K tv viewers in general that saw him on their screens recently will pay him attention and he can chat his way into relevancy, but we know what’s up.

Khan vs Brook isn’t a lost case. Brook may have hit a huge stump in his career with recent losses and major injuries and Khan hasn’t done much for years but that fight can be made huge in the U.K without a doubt. He knows that’s the fight for him that would gain relevance and people talking about him with credit again but no, he’d rather talk down an old friend and talk his way into a fight with Horn, a guy nobody takes seriously but also a guy who is ‘relevant’ at the moment. We aren’t ******.

I don't think that fight will ever happen. Khan is obviously a victim of his own ego. He is happy to sit on that £26m he's earned over the years as long as Kell Brook sits on his £5-6m.

I really think that's what it boils down to for Khan. He just doesn't want to give Kell Brook a payday unless it is mostly in his favour.

Hatton did the exact same thing to Witter. Hatton sat on his millions and watched Witter rot away driving Hyundais with sponsor badges and stickers all over the car.

Witter got so desperate for money he fought on until he was in his 40's and all because he didn't secure his future financially with one Hatton fight and Hatton was well aware of this. He mentioned it several times about not wanting to give Witter a payday.

Khan hasn't won a fight in years.

I watched him in the jungle and it has all started to make sense. The man is litertally ******ed. I would take a guess at his IQ being around the 40 mark.
