If Cotto Wins: Hatton or Gatti next

Just read an interview Arum gave for a PR newspaper. He said that Hatton wants to fight Nov 4th in Vegas if Cotto wins. They are also looking at fighting Gatti in AC on December 2nd if he can get by Baldomir.

Looks like Cotto has some real good options if he can win this one.

    BTW, Cotto TKO 10.

I think cottos best option is to move up to welter and fight gatti if they both win.The hatton fight would be good but only if it happens at 147.

Just like trips420 said. Cotto should move up. He is struggling to make weight always.. Look at him! He looks so drained always.

Castillo vs Cotto would be good. at either weight.

Cotto Vs Castillo is fight of the year right there. It's 50/50 in my book. But i will go for Cotto on this one. I see Cotto getting very good fights and being successful in them.

Anybody fighting Gatti whether Cotto or Hatton will be in for a war. Arturo wont fold for no one , DLH and Mayweather could not knock this guy out...fight had to be stopped or towel coming in. He will take your best and give his best. Gatti could even knock Cotto out.

I've been wanting to see Cotto lose for a longtime, but in tonights fight I want him to win only because Castillo is next in line..I respect Cotto,he has the power and skills along with a huge heart but Castillo's a monster with an unbelievable chin..It'll be a war while it last but I see Cotto being a little more breakable so Castillo by mid-round stoppage

As much as id like to see castillo vs cotto i would think its in cotto and arums best interest to move him up at this point. When you have to pull yourself down as much as cotto is doing it can really hurt your power and endurance.I never gave Mal a shot in this fight till i saw how drained cotto was at the weighin.Im afraid that if he cant replinish his body enough in time for the fight he could have problems. If he cant do it and his power and endurance isnt there then Mal has a shot if he sets a fast pace.I figured Mal would be ahead after 5 till he starts to slow down from cottos body work and cotto would just work him over till he stops him 9-12rd.My whole case for cotto getting a w here is that he would do what he does best and break Mal down over rounds with power shots.Cotto could have problems out boxing Mal and he doesnt have as good as hand speed so if pulling himself down that much afects his power it could be a hard fight for him.Im still picking cotto by late rd ko but mal could have a better chance than i figured.
