My Predictions
Mikey Garcia: Garcia's a technically sound boxer, with sleeping pills for hands, under 140. His boxing skills, while effective, look a bit basic. Garcia has longer arms than Loma, but Loma's an expert at closing the distance. Loma's movement should give Garcia issues, but one good shot could make the former go out like Broner did against Maidana. 50-50.
Jorge Linares: Linares is kinda like a bigger, stronger Gary Russel Jr. They both have blistering hand speed, effective volume punching, and pop in their punches. However, Linares's chin is a little sus. He has height and reach advantages over Loma, but he doesn't come across to me as a rangy fighter. I do think it's worth noting, that Linares took a 1st round stoppage in Loma's current division. Both Linares and Loma have excellent inside work, but Linares is bigger and stronger than Loma. Loma might have to stick and move, since Linares is very dangerous up close. This could be the most exciting game of cat and mouse, ever. 55-45 Loma.
Terry Flanagan: This guy doesn't really impress me, at all. He's an aggressive fighter with questionable punching power, who hasn't fought any really noteworthy opponents. Loma should be able to outbox him. 70-30 Loma.
Robert Easter Jr: Wait, this guy's a lightweight? LOL, what does he rehydrate to? He's nearly as tall as Daniel Jacobs, and has even longer reach. That aside, he has decent power, but suspect boxing skills. I say he has suspect boxing skills, because despite his horrific height and reach advantages, he got walked down by Denis Shafikov. He'll get outboxed fighting Loma like that, however his power could make the bout interesting. 60-40 Loma.
