    Lomachenko Against The Lightweight Champions

    My Predictions

Mikey Garcia: Garcia's a technically sound boxer, with sleeping pills for hands, under 140. His boxing skills, while effective, look a bit basic. Garcia has longer arms than Loma, but Loma's an expert at closing the distance. Loma's movement should give Garcia issues, but one good shot could make the former go out like Broner did against Maidana. 50-50.

Jorge Linares: Linares is kinda like a bigger, stronger Gary Russel Jr. They both have blistering hand speed, effective volume punching, and pop in their punches. However, Linares's chin is a little sus. He has height and reach advantages over Loma, but he doesn't come across to me as a rangy fighter. I do think it's worth noting, that Linares took a 1st round stoppage in Loma's current division. Both Linares and Loma have excellent inside work, but Linares is bigger and stronger than Loma. Loma might have to stick and move, since Linares is very dangerous up close. This could be the most exciting game of cat and mouse, ever. 55-45 Loma.

Terry Flanagan: This guy doesn't really impress me, at all. He's an aggressive fighter with questionable punching power, who hasn't fought any really noteworthy opponents. Loma should be able to outbox him. 70-30 Loma.

Robert Easter Jr: Wait, this guy's a lightweight? LOL, what does he rehydrate to? He's nearly as tall as Daniel Jacobs, and has even longer reach. That aside, he has decent power, but suspect boxing skills. I say he has suspect boxing skills, because despite his horrific height and reach advantages, he got walked down by Denis Shafikov. He'll get outboxed fighting Loma like that, however his power could make the bout interesting. 60-40 Loma.

What do you guys think? What are your predictions?

I would favor him against all 4. Mikey being the toughest and almost a 50-50.

Its just hard to see anyone out boxing Loma around his weight class now that he has adjusted to the pro game.

He cant be out worked because he throws a lot of punches, he just schooled a masterful pure boxer, he nullified and made a power puncher in walters quit. Like what's the gameplan?

I guess some will say fight him like Salido? But he clearly has adjusted to the pro game.

I would actually want to see him against Berchelt or Vargas just to see him against a tough brawling mexican to see how far he's gone from the salido performance.

I would love to see him fight Linares next, that would set up the Garcia superfight very nicely.

Loma comfortably beats Flanagan in my opinion, Flanagan is nowhere near the skill level, probably stops him.

Loma also beats the likes of Crolla and Campbell etc...

A fight with Linares next would be cool and then Garcia not too long after it.

Loma himself acknowledges that he needs challenges and needs to step up in terms of opposition, seeing as he addresses Rigondeaux as a win not to be impressed by.

Didn’t loma weigh around 137-138 on fight night vs Rigo? He’d look great at 135. His only clear and obvious challenge that is a potential banana skin at that weight is Garcia, in my opinion. Tank Davis will be up there soon and I really don’t see him threatening Loma either, but that fight wouldn’t happen for a long time anyways, if ever.

                He takes Linares and Flannagan.

I'd favor Garcia slightly over Loma. BUT, if Garcia becomes inactive or some other factors play in, I could go the other way.

Easter is a big '?'. We haven't seen his ceiling, nor have we seen him against anyone with speed and great footwork. One thing that concerns be is that Robert likes to fight inside but that would be death w/ Loma. He's really want to use that reach in a Hears vs Duran kind of way. It's possible he could really punish Loma from the outside, given Easter's physical gifts. I think Loma might win on ring IQ and gameplanning though.

Flangan is more like 95/5 Loma, but Easter is 60/40 Loma due to Easter's size, Linares would be a fun a$$ fight due to styles, and I have to slightly favor Mikey due to size, 52/48 Mikey

Meh I disagree, I think it's more like 52.5/47.5 Loma
