    Comments Thread For: Lee Selby Ready To Fight Josh Warrington at Elland Road

    This past Saturday night at Copper Boxing in London, Welshman Lee Selby (26-1, 9 KOs) secured a unanimous points victory over Eduardo Ramirez to retain his IBF featherweight world title. Selby's belt was not on the line after Ramirez failed to make the weight, but the 30-year-old, who lost his mother just days before he defended his title against Jonathan Victor Barros in July - a fight which had been postponed after the Argentine failed a blood test - appeared keen on putting on a good show.

        Well, well, well, HA! looks like your old buddy 1hourRun was right all along. NO SURPRISE : let us remember that Josh Warrington ducked a ELIMINATOR with the AMERICAN JoJo Diaz for the WBC featherweight title ;

        I immediately started to wonder what the UK had in store for Josh Warrington...and BEHOLD Lee Selby just turned a FREE AGENT and last worked with Frank Warren who is also Josh Warringtons promoter ( last time I checked) ....yes indeed we see two SCARED Brits fighting each other AGAIN ducking the Americans for a domestic level fight -- I am disgusted with these euro-bums and their cowardly ways! how I laugh at those UK fanboys when they abuse me for simply telling it like it is. Carl Frampton signed with Frank Warren too you say?! well that just means one less world level fight in his career, I'm sure the winner of this proposed fight will make sure of that.

        Yes sir, nothing like good O'l American boxing.

          Selbys signed with Warren now aswell. You need to round up some people to watch your guys, then they may be tempted over. Both Selby/Warrington and Frampton vs the winner are stadium fights. Thats how it is.

              Yeah he has big names who keep calling him out. Don't know why he ignores them & keeps acting like no one wants to fight him. Weird situation with Selby.

                Nice try Randall, JoJo Diaz vs. Josh Warrington was for a world title eliminator on PPV on the undercard of Canelo vs. Golovkin in Las Vegas, have you heard of those guys and Las Vegas?

                  Hes got a promoter now, think things should work better for him. Says he wants Warrington/Frampton/US fight, this year. Not convinced by his last performance though, either Frampton for that matter. US fighters may have to start heading to Warringtons Leeds fortress
