    Why do peeps underrate hopkins

seriously, he may not have fought the competiton like hagler and other great middleweight did, but u cant doubt his skill, and his defence is top notch, tarver is gonna get worked, gas out, and KO'd, he caught roy jones 1 night woo big deal, tarver couldnt even put away glen johnson, B-hop did though, tonight u will see a how a all time great can pull out a win, after tonight B-hop will retire the light heavyweight champ, i cant see how u guys think tarver will KO B-hop, when has B-hop ever been easy to hit, tarver will get his ass handed to him if he fights to slow, or he will get shown up like a fool if he tries to blitz out hopkins, lose-lose for tarver, say goodbye to HIS OVERRATED ass tonight

I've never heard of anyone underrating Hopkins. The only complaint I've heard against him the last couple years is that he has gotten boring.

I've always respected hopkins, but once he defeated trinidad he got over-rated by many including the media.

But i expect him to defeat tarver and he'd defeat winky.

edit: and about his boxing style to me he looks very akward when he boxs i don't see why many call him a boxing genious and all, but he is a good counter puncher which i finally noticed against eastman, hopkins could always fight when he wants too and take it old school and rough you up and beat you down while you complain all night long about his tacticts. but his awkard fighting style ain't pretty but it gets the job done.

calling hopkins over-rated is under-rating him

Dude, get ****ing real. Bernard is OVER-rated if anything.

How can you say he's under-rated when he was the so-called #1 lb4lb by beating Robert Allen three times? Don't be so ****ing ******.

            Who 'under rates' Hopkins?

Someone saying Tarver is going to beat him isn't under rating him. It's a tall order for his age and jumping up two classes.

Yes but Tarver had to lose more weight than Roy did when he fought Tarver so if it's close or Tarver loses, Antonio should play that card like Roy fans do.

How can one person be so deluded?

Tarver didn't lose muscle. He was not 7% body fat at Heavyweight like Roy was.

Roy cutting weight when there was nothing but muscle isn't a card. It's physics.
