Wilder can’t even sell out in Alabama how is this a50/50 fight? Let’s be generous and call it 65/35 AJ

Wilder will get more than that and deserve more than that, simply because he does open up the US market to Hearn/Joshua far more than just their airings on Showtime have.

Granted that still does not equate 50%.

Says someone is lying then come out with complete bull****.

Wilders biggest purse is 1.5 mil, he didn't fight Povetkin so no the 5 mil which was Povetkins promoter overpaying him to get the fight in russia doesn't count. His numbers for his last fight weren't much higher than Joshua's who fought in the afternoon in America.

I don't know why we argue over American numbers anyway, when 90+ % of the money will be coming from the UK.

I think for the best interest in boxing I hope Parker beats Joshua and brings him and Hearn back earth. Joshua though undefeated looked poor and got a premature stoppage against Takam, let's be honest a cruiserweight, has been dropped by both Whyte and Klitschko. WHYTE fought Helenius who never went to the canvass and Klitschko who hadn't fought in 2 years was way past his prime, if they had fought 2 years previously would of stopped Joshua whose currently in his prime. Yes Joshua has a big following in the UK but wouldn't sell as many anywhere else. Let's face it Joshua ain't no Mayweather or Ali, Foreman or Mike Tyson etc. They are greedy and need to be brought back to reality. If Parker wins this takes their leverage away and they can start eating humble pie.

Can't see Parker beating Wilder at all... Parker struggled against any decent opponent he faced... Cojanu too ))

hearn is right. wilder has no fans in the states because america doesn't give a fck about boxing. its a niche sport. thats why american boxers try to appeal to mexican fans. in the UK boxing is huge. if AJ was from alabama he wouldn't be making the money he makes now. its not about ability or talent when it comes to purse split. its all about drawing power and AJ is clearly the shot caller here.
