It was the weight & size.

Loma is not really as technical as some of you fans say he is. What he is, is a volume puncher, combination puncher & he gives you angles that's it. He doesn't look to block or counter punch like a real technician does looking for holes in your game. salido already gave us the blueprint to beat him & it's pressure & going to the body. Loma seems more gifted than technical....Floyd did not impose his size to manny, he boxed like a technician. Jeff horn imposed his size on manny.

The reason why he wasn't active is because Lomachenko didn't play Rigos game.

Rigo likes to sit and slow the pace down. He accomplishes this by finding an angle he likes. Sitting on it and waiting for the other guy to continuously swing at him. When the guy makes a mistake he counters.

Loma countered this with head movement, feints, and good footwork. Everytime Rigo got ready to sit and counter Loma would reset the angle by continuously walking to the left, literally circling Rigo. With rigo never having his feet set, he could generate no power. Also, this worked to Loma's advantage because he continuously walked out of the line of Rigos left effectively nullifying it.

When rigo did sit, Loma came in, again from the left and used his footwork to position himself in a superior postion where rigo couldn't hit him. He even went so far to lean on Rigo forcing the ref to reset the fighters.

If Loma doesn't like the angle he changes it. Rigo can only fight from one position. That's it. He's a one hand dominate fighter. That's it. Rigo doesn't have a jab. He only has a left straight. Nullify the left straight and you win.

Not even hard to diagnose at all.

Loma vs Salido was 4 years ago. If the blue print was so good why has no one done It?

Also, he's not as technical you say so then why is his defensive stats similar to Rigos? A guy who people do nothing but praise his defense?

That was a weird fight!! I knew Rigo was going to lose anyway because he's 37 years old and only fought three rounds since 2015!! That's a recipe for a @$$ whooping all day every day! Rigo just looked weird from round one then he kept holding not really throwing any combinations! Not to mention Lomachenko was concerned about Rigo tactics in the locker room like ten minutes before the fight! It was just strange! Oh then Rigo magically breaks his hand??? He didn't throw or land enough punches to break his hand. Something seems su****ious! But hey maybe with this loss means other fighters won't avoid Rigo now so maybe it helps his career. Also I'm curious to see who Loma fights next.

BULLSHT!!! You picked Rigo to win easily knowing the heights, weights, and reaches of each fighter!! And you insulted Lom for holding when Salido was punching his balls but did you complain when Rigo held on for dear life and had to be pried away from Lom?????

I honestly believe rigo quit when that point was deducted, you could see it in his face, it was like he was just over it, to me it looked like he felt everything was against him and he just went "f u c k this s h i t"

Rigo is a lil baby El Chacal. A dirty f-king fighter who loves to grab hands when on the inside, push boxers head down for some uppers and hit dudes after the bell. Too bad for Rigo his lil shenanigans which he is used to did not work so mfer just quit
