And to top that off, Salido had a broken orbital bone in that fight and did not quit. And Mayweather faced a lot of bullies, a couple bigger than him and he pulled it out each time. Movement and defense is the key in fights like these. Garcia wont be able to hit the backside of a barn with a bag of rice in this fight.
... Mikey Garcia was winning the fight, Salido wasn't going to be knocked out, and Mikey picked up an injury that very likely impaired him.

Mikey Garcia made a business decision, speak on it however you feel.

If Mikey had been down in that fight, do you honestly think that he would've just quit? lol

If he was down in the fight he could have still quit because ultimately that is what he did right when Salido was coming on strong and Salido kept going with a broken orbital bone. The fact is he quit with the type of injury that many fighters have fought threw, whether they were up or down in the fight.

Assuming you are right, I think Loma will give Mikey angles that Mikey has not seen in a while.

Plus, Loma already fought many fighters as an amateur so I think he already know how to fight a fundamental fighter in Mikey.
All the unnecessary movement will be Lomachenko's undoing, and Lomachenko makes clear mistakes in trying to put on a show and get his opponent to open up. You add that he's only got seemingly good pop at 130lbs (enough to do serious damage if he can get you out of position, but nowhere near fight changing power), and there's stuff to exploit if the opponent is coming in with ability.

Pro boxing is different from amateur boxing, and everyone should know that by now. When it comes to pro boxing, Mikey Garcia is about as good as they come.

No unnecessary movement, can brawl if he needs to brawl and box if he needs to box, can punch in all phases, and can still be effective when things go to **** in the ring (ugly style, rough stuff, etc).

For all the experience that Lomachenko had in the amateurs, Salido came with his hard hat and dirty boots and put it on him. The wars finally took the last of the fight out of him, but I think that Lomachenko may still have issues with dealing with that kind of style, even today (physical, eat a couple to give one, rough/dirty, aggression without care for clean boxing).

Mikey's not Salido, but those sensibilities aren't foreign to him. If the head isn't there for a clean shot, he'll throw to the chest/shoulder/stomach, before going back to the head when it opens up.

The angles/movement don't work when you don't go for the bait; Rigondeax kept within himself, and that left Lomachenko landing on 15% of his shots. Do you not think that Robert and Mikey haven't picked up on that by now?

Mikey made a business decision, simply put. The fact that you're arguing that Mikey would've just taken the L, were he to have been down, is silly

Mikey quit, period. He decided he didnt want to continue when Salido was coming on strong. Other boxers also pointed that out. Whether it is ominous or not remains to be seen.

No coWARD, it's not. Garcia gonna get smoked, he knows it and will duck the fight.

Mikey Vs Loma is good fight but lets not bring Salido into this like some how Salido blew Loma out of the fight , Salido won a split desicion fight based on Lomas first half of the fight and of course coming in much bigger and hitting in the balls. Loma is way better now
Loma's 2nd pro fight....title shot. Salido refused the rematch for good reason, he knew he couldn't win.
