I'm sure they as fighters have the capabilities to asses when a fight is completely out of their hands.

Rigo would have been stopped, he knew it, we knew it. Is quitting really so crazy n a situation like that

I don't know if Rigo would've been stopped. I didn't see many big shots being landed. He seemed completely unwilling to do anything however.

    Rigos performance was just strange.

The only person I completely cannot stand quitting is Victor Ortiz, so much potential gone to waste.

I am not a pro boxer. But If I am a pro boxer I would definitely go out on my shield, and throw everything in my arsenal even If I am going to get KO.

This is like playing basketball against some stacked teams. Back in HS our team was being led by as much as 30 points in the first half.

We had a great run in the 2nd half. And We were able to pulled a major upset because we applied the full court press until the end of the game.

I get why he did it but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We expect world class fighters to go out on their shield, he said fck this noise Im about to get stretched out and quit. Whatever he does from now on that wont be forgotten just like Duran quitting against SRL.

it's pretty easy to say when you're not in there getting your brain rattled and body shocked from punishment. We all want to believe we are some great warriors who'd go out like Orlando Salido. Also, playing high school basketball is nothing like combat where your life is at stake.

True. Rigo might be hurt last night. IDK. Was he really injured?

I watched the fight back a few hours ago, he did seem extremely tentative after the first/second round. weird look on his face. no longer relaxed and not planted.

From then onwards i'm sure i only saw him throw one significant left hand until the end of the fight.

I can understand when an older fighter who has a lot of mileage quits. It is understandable, but not prime young fighters. And I don't classify Rigo as an old fighter with a lot of mileage on him. I recall when Camacho Jr quit on HBO. He was supposed to be an up and coming great 2nd gen fighter and quitting ruined his career.

                  Omg that ass!!!!
And no hey quit fawk them they deserve the criticism! They chose the profession and know the consequences so none of this you can’t call a fighter a poosey or a quiter because he is in the ring and you aren’t. No sh it Sherlock he chose to be a fighter I didn’t but if I did I would go out on my shield and not quit.

It's not that he quit, it's that he quit and didn't even try to adjust or do ****. He just sat around expecting himself to win at some point then realized he couldn't and left.
